The item I want is out of stock. What can I do?
We completely understand how disappointing it is if an item you want isn't in stock. If this is the case, please use the contact form below to get in touch. Let us know which item you want, and the quantity, and we will make sure that you are first in line when we receive our next stock delivery.
Are other lengths of scissors available?
We currently only offer 7.5" blades. Being experienced groomers ourselves, we have opted for this length for a few reasons:
We believe that a 7.5" blade offers the perfect balance between blade length and control. It’s long enough to clear a decent amount of coat but short enough to handle detail work around the body.
We feel that this length blade allows you to cover more surface area with fewer snips, which creates a smoother, more level finish on the dog's body.
Our experience is that the balance and control offered 7.5" blade reduces hand fatigue, enable your to deliver stunning cuts through those long days in the salon.
If you prefer a different length of scissor, please let us know and we will gauge demand.
Are left-handed scissors available?
We are able to source the same high quality, professional scissors for left-handed people. If you require left-handed scissors, please get in touch.
Any tips on looking after my scissors?
Quality scissors are an investment which, if looked after properly, will last you many years. Here are some quick tips on making the most of your investment:
Ensure your scissors are clean and dry, preferably after each use and certainly at the end of the day.
Lubricate the pivot and tension screw weekly to maintain a smooth action.
Avoid dropping your scissors.
Avoid using your scissors on dirty coats. This will only dull the blades.
Store in the protective case supplied when not in use.
